Tonawanda Zoning Workshop TOMORROW Tuesday August 29 |
The Town of Tonawanda has released it’s draft zoning code and map for public review! Learn more at our Zoning Workshop at the Sheridan Parkside Community Center, 169 Sheridan Parkside Drive in Tonawanda – drop by anytime tomorrow Tuesday August 29 between 4-8pm. Please register for the workshop today and bring a friend or two! Childcare and food provided. Can’t make it to the workshop but want to submit a comment? Click here to use our form, or contact the town planner directly at (716) 871-8847 x 1 or jhartz@tonawanda.ny.us. The public comment period is currently slated to close this Thursday August 31. Please take a moment to send a letter to the town planner to request an extension! Earlier this month we submitted 10 pages of signatures from Clean Air members, supporters, and Tonawandans all in favor of a comment extension – your added voice will help amplify this ask! We will notify all our Tonawanda-area members when the public hearing and vote on the townwide comprehensive zoning amendments is scheduled – at this time we expect it will be in October. |
